New play park breathes life into village

Rock Village Hall and Millennium Green is located in a rural community where it is responsible for a thriving village hall and green space. Before Biffa Award funding, there were no play facilities for children in the village, the nearest being over five miles away. The £14,865 grant enabled the group to build a play park suitable for all ages. The new equipment brings children, parents and grandchildren together in a healthy outdoor environment, improving social interaction in a village that has suffered the loss of both its shop and school.
