Biffa Award needs your help! It’s our mission to engage more with projects via social media to celebrate and shout about all the good work communities are able to achieve with the help of the Landfill Communities Fund.

It is important for projects to tell their extraordinary stories and Biffa Award want to hear them in the form of a short video; whether it is of the new toilets at the local community centre which have given residents the ability to spend hours socialising without any worries about the facilities, or whether it is to restore suitable habitats for a threatened species using volunteers and teaching children about the importance of wildlife. No matter how big or small the project, it is important to know how the grant helped your community.

Below is a Woodland Trust video which was created after the completion of The Trees Enriching Communities Project supported by Biffa Award; we hope this will provide inspiration for your video, such as the interviews with local residents discussing what the changes meant to them. Please note, this was created by professional film makers so don’t worry we aren’t expecting yours to be this well edited with effects. The key thing to remember is that it’s all about people, and showing clearly what a difference the LCF has made.

Here are Guidance Notes  on what exactly videos should include.
