Today we’re launching #ShowUsYourPlaque a fun competition for all Biffa Award projects.

We’re proud to support projects of all sizes right across the UK, from new kitchens in village halls to the reintroduction of BAP species into their natural habitats. For every project we support a Biffa Award plaque is sent out.

During grants team visits and through project’s own publicity we often see our Biffa Award plaque displayed in pride of place on the entrance to a new building or the gateway to a nature reserve and in one instance behind a 2012 Olympic gymnast!

This got us thinking, how are you displaying the plaque to let people know about your Biffa Award project? Get involved by sending us a picture of your plaque to be in with a chance to win a Biffa Award goodie bag. We’re looking for those plaques that stand at the furthest ends of the country, as well as the most unique and creatively placed. As Halloween is just around the corner why not spook up your plaque to be in with a chance to win. As well as a goodie bag, winning projects will be featured on our website and social media pages, along with their winning picture.

Tweet, Facebook or email your picture to Kerri Saxby and keep an eye on other entries via our social media pages. If you’re tweeting remember to use the hashtag #ShowUsYourPlaque

The competition closes on Saturday 30th November. Happy snapping!
